The 2nd General Assembly Meeting of the XR5.0 Project, hosted by ATB/OAS and KUKA in Bremen, Germany. The three-day event from February 4–6, 2025, has successfully concluded! This gathering brought together distinct expertise and perspectives, creating a dynamic collaborative powerhouse to revolutionize Extended Reality applications.
Throughout the meeting, partners engaged in comprehensive discussions on the project’s work packages, including management, legal and ethical considerations, dissemination strategies, and technical developments. Key areas included in-depth sessions on specifications, architecture, AI/XR, and operator training, all aimed at enhancing XR applications in industrial settings.
On the second day of the meeting, the partners visited the KUKA infrastructure. The Pilots Workshop was also held, the focus was on the integration of technical components, including personalised XR content, AI, training programs, the Hololight hub, and the cloud-based XR repository. The data privacy, confidentiality, and security were also discussed. There was a detailed dialogue on aligning the technical outputs of components with user stories.
The meeting ended with round-table discussions, real-time integrations, and technical fine tuning.
