A new article highlighting the collaboration between the Horizon Europe projects XR5.0 and XR2INDUSTRY has been published on Open Research Europe. Written by Nikolaos Tousert, the article “Connecting Europe’s XR Ecosystem: XR5.0 and XR2Industry Join Forces” presents the joint efforts of both projects to advance interoperability and alignment across European Extended Reality (XR) infrastructures.
The collaboration aims to support a sustainable, connected, and human-centric XR ecosystem for Industry 5.0 by exploring synergies between emerging European XR platforms and technologies. Through technical exchanges, XR5.0 and XR2INDUSTRY are investigating opportunities for platform integration, interoperability, and future alignment.
