XR5.0 at the ICE Conference 2026

The XR5.0 project recently participated in the ICE Conference 2026, held in Porto, Portugal, from 22 to 25 June. The event brought together approximately 250 participants and provided an important opportunity to showcase the project’s ongoing work and engage with the international research community.

During the conference, the SUPSI team presented the paper “Motion Prediction under Dynamic Sensing in Human–Robot Shared Environments: Insights for Human-Centric Systems” and shared updates on the activities being developed within XR5.0.

A dedicated workshop explored the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Extended Reality (XR), attracting around 12 participants. During the session, attendees had the opportunity to experience the Pilot 4 XR application firsthand. The hands-on demonstration encouraged direct interaction and enabled participants to share valuable insights and feedback to support the continued development and refinement of XR5.0 solutions.

The participation in the ICE Conference strengthened the visibility of XR5.0 and fostered knowledge exchange and engagement with researchers, experts, and potential users.
