Lecture “LLM Agents for Real-World Applications: The Case of Stock Analysis and Training Assistants in VR,” at Harokopio University.

On November 29th, 2024, an interesting lecture delivered to a keen audience of 40 MSc students at Harokopio University’s Department of Informatics and Telematics entitled “LLM Agents for Real-World Applications: The Case of Stock Analysis and Training Assistants in VR,” exploring cutting-edge innovations and practical use cases for Large Language Models (LLMs).

The session delved into strategies for developing reliable LLM agents, addressing critical challenges such as mitigating hallucinations and expanding the knowledge capabilities of these models. Practical applications were showcased in both financial services and Industry 5.0, illustrating their transformative potential in real-world scenarios.

A key focus was the integration of LLMs into industrial VR training systems, aligning with XR5.0’s mission to create safe, immersive learning environments. By leveraging domain-specific LLM agents, trainees gain real-time guidance, revolutionizing how we approach skill-building and knowledge transfer.

These advancements represent a significant step forward in our shared vision of practical XR solutions for industry applications.
