OpenVerseOPENVERSE – Key Achievements in 2025: In 2025, OPENVERSE partners proudly organised and contributed to a range of strategic events. These activities strengthened the Virtual Worlds community, fostered engagement with national initiatives, and supported the development of the European Technology Framework. Together, these efforts unite key domains around a shared vision: open, interoperable, and human-centric Virtual Worlds.

As OPENVERSE enters its final year, stay tuned for major upcoming events. The journey is expected to culminate in the OPENVERSE Summit—a must-attend opportunity to meet your community, expand your network, and engage with the newly established Virtual Worlds Association, with whom we look forward to continued collaboration.
MOTIVATE XRMOTIVATE XR key accomplishments 2025: The project has achieved a major technical milestone with its Beta Release, a production-ready platform that manages the entire industrial XR lifecycle. This development integrates AI-powered, no-code authoring tools that automate the creation of training scenarios from manuals with advanced experiencing services featuring live Digital Twin telemetry and gesture-controlled headset support. The platform establishes a secure, validated environment for immersive industrial collaboration and real-time remote assistance.

Training progress: The MOTIVATE XR project has successfully transitioned from development to real-world validation through key industrial pilots. In the Aerospace Industry (Pilot 1), a milestone was reached by using an AI pipeline to automatically convert complex maintenance manuals into playable training scenarios for Liebherr Aerospace. Simultaneously, the Aluminium Industry (Pilot 3) has moved into the final evaluation phase, where trainees are now using the RTXR Player and HoloLens 2 to test immersive assembly training at the Architectural Aluminium Academy.
