The XR5.0 project presents the Pilot 3 Webinar, titled “ Remote Inspection and Maintenance of Industry 5.0 Infrastructures”, that will take place on April 23rd, 2026, at 13:00–14:00 CET. The session will present an overview of advanced approaches to pipeline inspection, monitoring, and maintenance, highlighting how Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and data-driven systems support these processes in modern industrial environments.
📅 Date: Thursday, 23 April 2026
🕒 Time: 13:00–14:00 CET
📍 Location: Online
The webinar will begin with an Introduction to the session, setting the context and outlining the key objectives. It will then continue with a presentation introducing a pilot framework featuring three distinct use cases, demonstrating practical applications in real-world scenarios.
Following this, participants will explore an augmented reality system for smart pipeline inspection, showcasing how immersive technologies can enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency. The session will also include a presentation on a large language model–based chat engine, designed to provide customizable, domain-specific assistance and support operational workflows.
Next, a presentation will focus on identifying defects in pipeline networks using human-centric AI, emphasizing the role of intelligent systems in improving reliability while keeping human oversight central. Participants will then be introduced to a dedicated API for coordinating data access, enabling seamless integration and communication across different systems and stakeholders. Attendees will also be invited to engage in live audience feedback and a live survey during the online event, encouraging real-time interaction and participation.
The event will conclude with an Open Discussion – Questions & Answers, offering participants the opportunity to ask questions and further explore the topics presented.
